Getting started
From subscribing to your first alert — six steps.
Create or sign in to a TradingView account — a free account is enough to start.
Add your TradingView username in your Tool2Trade account dashboard. We grant TCI access to that username automatically (it's case-sensitive, so enter it exactly).
Open your chart and go to Indicators → Invite-only scripts → Technical Context Indicator to load it.
Choose the timeframe that matches your style and apply it consistently. Quiet mode is on by default to keep the chart clean.
Create an alert on TCI, set it to “Once Per Bar Close,” and pick how you want to be notified (TradingView app, email).
Read the full user manual and reach support@tool2trade.ai anytime you need help.
Getting started & access
After I subscribe, how do I get the script?
Add your TradingView username in your account dashboard. We grant access automatically, and TCI then appears under Invite-only scripts on your chart.
Do I need a TradingView account, and which plan?
Yes, you need a TradingView account; a free one is enough to start. Paid TradingView plans simply let you run more indicators and active alerts at the same time.
How do I add TCI to my chart?
On TradingView, open Indicators → Invite-only scripts → Technical Context Indicator, and it loads onto your chart.
I subscribed but don't see the script — what now?
Check that your TradingView username is saved correctly in your dashboard (it's case-sensitive) and refresh; access can take a few minutes. If it's still missing after that, contact support.
How do I set up alerts?
Add TCI to your chart, create an alert, choose the TCI condition, set it to “Once Per Bar Close,” and pick how you want to be notified.
Using TCI
What do TC+, TC++, TC− and TC−− mean?
They mark the script's technical-context reading on a closed bar. TC+ and TC− indicate context; the “+” tiers (TC++ / TC−−) mark stronger readings where more of the underlying conditions align.
What is TCI actually measuring?
A single technical-context reading built from a weighted score of five components: Price Action (30%), Liquidity (25%), Volume Delta (20%), Trend (15%) and Momentum (10%).
What are the channel (CHB) alerts?
They flag when price reaches a channel boundary. TCI treats these as high-priority context for the current reading.
Which markets and timeframes can I use it on?
It works on any TradingView symbol and timeframe. It's most useful on liquid instruments — choose the timeframe that fits your style and apply it consistently.
Do the markers change during a bar?
Treat a marker as confirmed once its bar closes. Setting alerts to “Once Per Bar Close” ensures you act on confirmed readings rather than intrabar movement.
What is “quiet mode”?
A display setting, on by default, that reduces chart clutter so only the key markers show. You can adjust it in the script settings.
What TCI is — and isn't
Is SDS financial advice?
No. SDS is an educational technical-analysis tool. It doesn't consider your personal circumstances and isn't a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. For advice, consult a licensed financial advisor.
Does it tell me when to buy or sell?
No. SDS marks a rule-based directional reading (Up/Down). It does not issue buy or sell recommendations or tell you when to enter or exit — how you use the information is entirely your decision.
What's the accuracy or win rate?
We don't publish accuracy or win-rate figures. SDS highlights rule-based direction for educational purposes; it isn't a performance product. Past behaviour doesn't predict future results, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Will I make money using SDS?
We can't and don't promise that. Trading carries real risk and you can lose money. SDS is one analytical input among many; results depend on your own decisions and market conditions.
Is this a signals or trading service?
No. There are no live trade calls, no managed positions and no personalised guidance. SDS is a charting indicator plus educational material.
Subscription & payment
How much does it cost?
SAR 225 per month, or SAR 2,250 per year (the annual plan works out to roughly two months free). There is no free trial.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed by Moyasar and support mada, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the billing section of your account. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Do I get a refund if I cancel?
Because SDS is digital access granted immediately, the statutory cooling-off period for digital products doesn't apply once access is delivered, except where access is defective. Please see our Refund Policy for the details.
When am I charged, and how do I update my card?
You're charged at the start of each billing period and renewal is automatic. You can update your payment method anytime in your account's billing section.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes — change your plan from your account's billing section; the new rate applies from your next billing cycle.
Account & technical
How do I change my email or TradingView username?
Update them in your account dashboard. If you change your TradingView username, save the new one so your access stays linked.
I'm not receiving alerts.
Check that your alert is set to “Once Per Bar Close” and is still active (TradingView alerts can expire), that notifications are enabled in the TradingView app, and that you haven't reached your plan's active-alert limit.
The script disappeared from my chart.
Re-add it from Indicators → Invite-only scripts. If it isn't listed, confirm your TradingView username is saved correctly in your dashboard, then contact support.
Can I use TCI on more than one device?
Yes. It's tied to your TradingView account, so it's available wherever you sign in to TradingView.
